It has taken me about a year to write this and I know that what I say will not be enough. I want to say thank you for trying to save the life of my ex boyfriend Jay the car that took on the dumptruck on 231. It hurt me a lot to see him go and with all the pain and termoil that I went through trying to get over the fact that he was no longer with me and that you guys did what you could to save his life. to be honest I never gave the fact that you tried to save him a secound thought the only thing that I could think of at the time was that he was gone and I would never be able to talk to him or see his smile again. well now that I realized all the all the time and work that you put in to trying to save his life and keep him with use for a little long I want to say thank you even though I know that thank will never be enough for all the time you spent trying to save his life and the lives of the others that you did and do save but for right now that is the best that I can do and I hope that you guys keep up the good work . Just wanted to say thank you very much to the Benedict VFDRS members for their hospitality towards my daughter and I on 1/22/05 when my car slid off Rte 231 during the winter storm. They openly invited us to stay at the fire house until our transportation arrived. Thank you again! God Bless All of You!

Just wanted to send a "Thank You" to Sean Kerrigan and the members of BVFDEMS for assisting us in filling up another underground water tank on Grosstown Road. Your help in this task saved us a few extra trips to a real hydrant by using the 4000 gallon beast of yours. Stay dedicated to the job and it will always pay you in the end.

I would like to thank everyone who tried to save my nephew Jay who was in the car hit by the dumptruck on Rt 231 on 06/14/04. Jay did not make it. He has been missed by so many people. Jay was a loving person and would do anything for anyone. No matter what you had done he would have helped you. Jay did not have a mean bone in his body and was a very happy person. Just to let you guys know, there is a wooden cross on the side of the road where the accident took place. I, again, just wanted to thank each and everyone of you who helped my nephew. I just wish it had saved him. God bless all of you!!!

Hello my name is Kelly, and I would like to thank you for doing everything you could do for my friend Jay when he was hit by the dumptruck on 231. I know he did not make it thought that but I know you guys did everything you could for him. I know you guys would have liked him to pull thought that we all knew that it wasn't going to happen the way we all wish it would. I really don't think anyone could have made it thought that. But really im happy and thankful that you all tryed your best to help him... He was a great person and a loving one too. I don't know if any of you knew him but if you had you would have love him. He always was happy no matter what. And I don't know but I guess I wanted to let you know, with all my heart I thank you. You and a team worked so hard some him and that was something that should not go by with out thanks from someone that really loved that kid... He did good in life and was really good at what he did.. that was making everyone that he had come in contact with a happyer person day by day. I really don't think there is a person that he talked to that did not like him he was a great person and is missed by so meany people every day that he is gone from us... Thank you Kelly S.
