Member Participates in Regional Skills USA Competition

The Benedict Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad is proud to announce that Firefighter/EMT Greg Foard, a student in the Calvert County Fire-Rescue-EMS Cadet Program, was recently selected to participate in the Regional Skills USA Competition. He will be competing against students from Calvert, Charles and Saint Mary's County Cadet Program. The 1st-3rd place winners of this competition will then move on to compete in the State Competition which will be held Saturday May 5 in Millersville, MD. The 1st place winner of the State competition will then progress to the National Conference which is held in Kansas City the week of June 25th.
