On June 3, 2018 at approximately 1800 hours Rescue Engine 5-2 , Swift Water Rescue 5 and Chief 5 were alerted to a vehicle in the water on the other side of the countt. While returning, Chief 5 and Rescue Engine 5-2 pulled up to a truck towing a trailer that had wrecked into a guard rail on Route 5 in the area of Route 488. After investigation, the occupants were found to be fine. Engine Company assisted getting the truck off the road and out of traffic.
