The Benedict Volunteer Fire Department, Rescue Squad and Auxiliary is partnering with Angels of Hope to provide you a fun evening out. ** September 8, 2019** Questions or reservations - call Darlene Sampson 301-751-7475 or Beth Thompson 240-475-5640 Reservations not required but encouraged, especially if you have a group. Paddles are $3 each or 2 for $5 Here is how a “Pick a Prize” Auction works. Each Vendor will have at least 4 items displayed in their space on the Auction Block. Example: We are in the 2-quarter round and we are at Jamberry. If you want a chance to win, you pay .50 cents for each paddle you want to use. Everyone who wants to bid on the item pays .50 cents to their table worker (per paddle) and raises their paddle up above their head. When all bids are in, the balls are mixed up, and a ball is drawn with a number on it. If the person with that number placed a bid, THEY WIN!!! They get to go up to the Auction Block and choose anything they want from Avon. If they did not bid, another ball is drawn until someone who placed a bid wins. This process continues to the next Vendor on the Auction block until the end. Then the next round begins starting with the first Vendor. You can bring your own quarters or purchase them at the Auction. Visit us on facebook |
