On Sunday at 1:43 am Charles County 911 dispatched volunteers from Benedict and Hughesville to the 16640 Blk of Prince Frederick Rd in the area of the State Highway salt dome. After the intial dispatch comunications notified units that they had a report of one ejected. Charles County then added Paramedic Amb. 3-8 from EMS 3. A Charles County Deputy arrived on location and advised that no one was ejected, but there were injuries. Chief 5 arrived on location,and advised there were two patients. Rescue Engine 5-2 arrived on scene and set up the light tower. The crew secured the power and checked for any other hazards on the vehicle. The crews from Amb. 5-8 and Amb. 2-8 worked on the patients and requested a helicopter for both patients. After both patients were loaded into the ambulances, Rescue Engine 5-2 took the landing site. Both patients where flown to Prince Georges trauma center. Units cleared shortly after.
