Benedict Volunteers Particapate in Touch a Truck in Huntingtown

Saturday, August 21, 2010, local public service agencies gathered at Huntingtown High School. Engine 5-3 stood by and participated in Touch a Truck. Benedict Volunteers showed young children the fire apparatus as well as taught them the job duties of a fire fighter. The benefit was a complete success.

Several weeks ago, Benedict Volunteers responded to a house fire located in Sunderland, Maryland. All proceeds of Touch a Truck went to benefit this family, who is displaced by this house fire.
