| During the massive rain storm, Benedict Volunteers stayed busy assisting other departments around the county with our Swift Water Rescue Team. Since the team is a specialty team, other departments not having the same equipment required assistance. Benedict's Swift Water Rescue team ran 9 swiftwater calls throughout the county. From Sept 7-8, swift water crews made one rescue and one assist.
