| On Sunday, the conclusion to the 65th Annual Southern Maryland Firemen's Association was today. Members attended the parade, and firefighter games. The Benedict Volunteers brought, Command 5, EMS Utility 5 , Engine 5-5, Tanker 5, Utility 5, MSU-5, Boat 5 and Engine 5-1. Company 5 was awarded 2nd Place in the Firefighter Challenge, Best Appearing Engine 1500 and Over, Best Appearing Boat, Best Appearing Command, 2nd Best Appearing Antique Fire Truck 25 + years still in service, and 2nd Place in the Tug of War.
