| The department is proud to announce that Daniel Carpenter has successfully completed and passed the Maryland Institute of Emergency Medical Services, Emergency Medical Technician - Basic course. The course consisted of 131 instructional hours plus numerous hours of ambulance ride alongs for practical application training. The objective of this course is to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform emergency medical care in a pre-hospital environment at the basic life support level. He will be able to recognize, assess, and manage medical and trauma signs and symptoms in patients of emergency situations. Congratulations to Daniel Carpenter |
