Benedict Runs Brush Fire in Calvert

Saturday April 27, 2013 at 1714 hours, Engine 5-4 (Lt. Foard) was alerted to 3091 Whispering Drive (204 box) in Prince Frederick for the woods fire. Firefighters arrived on location, finding the same, approximately 4 acres burning. Additional brush units were called to the scene to surround the perimeter and finally bring the fire under control. Units from the Benedict VFD operated on the scene until 1830 hours.
