Benedict Runs 2 Alarm Fire |

| On Thursday, June 6 at 1313 hours, Benedict volunteers were alerted for the lumber yard fire on Brandywine Road. Rescue Engine 52 and Tanker 5 responded. Engine 22 arrived on scene with a working fire. A second alarm was sounded bringing units from Charles, Calvert, St. Mary's, and Prince George's. 52's crew attacked the fire with hand lines and Tanker 5 supplied water. Units from Benedict operated until 1936 hours. |
