Farming 4 Hunger is a non-profit organization that grows vegetables to distribute to hungry people in Southern Maryland. On September 9, 2014, Benedict (and other volunteer companies) traveled to Serenity Farm for the 5K fun run. Rehab 3 was utilized due to the heat. Units took position across the field to guarantee public safety. During the event, there were 2 minor check ups and no transports. This is another successfully weekend for Benedict staffed by 100% volunteers. Many thanks to Waldorf EMS 3 and the Charles County Mobile Intensive Care Unit Co. 60.
