Water Rescue In Calvert

October 4, 2015 - At 2045 hours, Company 5 was alerted to Water Rescue Box 2-05 for flooding conditions with people trapped in their residences. Rescue Engine 52 responded to the 6400 block of Hallowing Lane. Units arrived to find a trailer park with nine units in flood waters. The Patuxent River overflowed into the trailer park at Hallowing Point due to storms in the area the past few days. 52's crews, along with other Calvert crews assisted a total of fourteen people. Other occupants refused to leave their homes. Company 5 units operated for just under two hours.
