On May 8, Benedict VFDRS&A held a mothers day breakfast from 8 am to 1 pm at the station. The cost was $10 for adults, $5 for ages 6 to 10, and kids 5 and under eat free. Breakfast included sausage, bacon, eggs, pancakes, home fried potatoes, and all the fixings. The event had a large turn out and the department was able to make a profit. Many thanks goes out to community for the support and hoped you enjoyed it.
