On Wednesday, June 23, Firefighter Joel Collins drove Engine 54 to Ocean City for the 124th annual Maryland State Fireman's Association Convention Parade. The parade began at 1pm, after the parade, Engine 54 was awarded the Brush Unit-Honorable Mention. Great job on the dedication and pride shown and a good representation on the department.

Also, congratulations to the Mechanicsville Volunteer Fire Department, INC. for winning the Chief Marvin Gibbons award for Company Making Best Appearance Overall.
