| On Sunday, October 4th, from 1 PM to 4 PM, the Benedict Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad will host its annual Fire Prevention and Open House. The event will offer an opportunity to meet local volunteers, learn about fire safety, tour fire apparatus, enjoy activities for children, and access safety resources.
The Benedict Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad is partnering with the National Fire Protection Association to highlight Fire Prevention Week, which runs from October 4th to 10th. This year’s theme is Charge into Fire Safety: Safe Charging Is a Superpower.
