By Safety Officer Sean Kerrigan
March 26, 2006

On March 26 around 11:00am Volunteers from Benedict and Prince Frederick met at the Calvert Industrial Park to train on using the Humat valve. Captain Delehanty led the drill for the two departments. Near the end of the drill Calvert Communication dispatched a brush fire off of Clayhamond Rd. in wich Engine 2-1 and Tanker 5 ran. Shortly after that Calvert Communications put out an automatic fire alarm at Calvert High School. Rescue Engine 5-2 bid on the call and was added. Calvert Chief 2 arrived on the scene with nothing evident and set up the command. Shortly after Engine 2-2 arrived and laid out, Tanker 2 picked up the line. Rescue Engine 5-2 arrived just as Command placed the box in service and assisted in racking Engine 2-2's line.

Special thanks to Captain Delehanty and the crew from Prince Frederick for their time and knowledge.

Units: Command 5, Chief 5, Rescue Engine 5-2, Tanker 5

Mutual Aid: Calvert Engine 2-2
