On Tuesday around 6:00pm Hughesville and Mechanicsville Volunteers where dispatched to 15205 Oaks Rd. for the brush fire. Tanker 2 arrived on location to find a working chimney fire and asked Charles County to start the assignment. Rescue Engine 5-2 and Tanker 5 where put on the call. They arrived shortly after the units from St. Mary's Company 2. The crews assisted in removing the stove insert from the fire place. Units went in service shortly after.
