On Thursday, June 22 at 1930hrs Charles County Communications dispatched a Water Rescue Box with subjects in the water; sending Engine 5-2, Boat 5 with a Swiftwater Rescue Technician, and Amb. 5-8. Units arrived on scene to find a Personal Watercraft vs. a Bass Boat. Chief 5 set up the Patuxent River Command and advised all persons were accounted for. Both water vehicles were already on shore. Upon investigation Chief 5 found that the PWC had struck the front of the Bass Boat near the Rt. 231 Bridge. Command held the first arriving ambulance and Company 5 units; placing the rest of the assignment in service. Ambulance 2-7 arrived on location and advised no EMS care needed. Amb. 5-8 arrived and obtained sign refusals. Chief 5 terminated Command at 1952hrs and all units cleared shortly after.

Units: Chief 5, Chief 5-A, Rescue Engine 5-2, MSU-5, and Boat-5
