May 2, 2004

On May 2, 2004, the members of the benedict Volunteer fire and Rescue emptied house to attend the Annual Southern Maryland Parade in Hollywood Co.7. A special thanks to Bladensburg Co. 9, Engine 9-2 and the crew from Prince George's county who filled in for us. The Benedict Fire and Rescue emptied house to show our support for the convention. Benedict walked away with Best Appearing Tanker over 1500 gallons.

The members worked hard all week to make a good showing and it showed. Congratulation to all participants in the Convention and thank you to Hollywood VFD for being great hosts.
