On Thursday at approximately 2:30pm, Engine 5-4 was dispatched mutual aide to Barstow Rd and Buena Vista Rd in Calvert county Co.2's first due for the brush fire. Shortly after, Engine 5-3 was dispatched as a tanker to the call. Engine 5-4, under the command of a firefighter (Buzzy Griffin) and Engine 5-3, under the command of Lt. 5 (Andrew Stephens) responded. They arrived on location minutes later and assisted in extinguishing the 4 acre blaze. Units were held for approximately two hours.
