Benedict Volunteers runs 2 alarm fire in North Beach

On August 13, at approximately 6:32pm, Engine Co. 5 was dispatched mutual aide to Calvert station 2 for the fill in. Engine 5-3, under the command of Lt. 5 (Andrew Stephens) went enroute to the fill-in. While enroute, Engine 5-3 was rerouted to Calvert Co. 6 for the fill-in but was then advised to report to Box 1-05, 7533 C St for the 2 alarm fire. Engine 5-3 arrived in staging and stood by for approximately 30 min. Engine 5-3's crew was called to the scene to assist with salvage and overhaul. Engine 5-3 cleared the fire ground at 9:19pm.
