At 1:23 PM Charles County Communications dispatched Station 5 for the transfer to Station 8. Engine 5-3, under the command of Lt. 5 (Andrew Stephens), stood by at Station 8 for approximately 2 hours. Station 8 was on a working fire with Engine 8-2 and Tanker 8 in Company 11's first due (Bryans Road). After Engine 5-3 went in service, Station 8 was dispatched on a first due brush fire and another working fire in Company 11's first due.
