Thursday at 11:53 a.m. Boat-5 was dispatched mutual aid to Calvert County in the area of the Thomas Johnson Bridge Solomons Island for the reported working boat fire. While enroute Calvert Communications notified all units responding that all of the people were off the boat and thick black smoke was coming from the cabin. Boat 3 (Solomons) put a good knock on the fire. Boat 5 arrived on the scene to assist. Boat 3 put all units in service at 01:13 p.m.
