On Tuesday July 22, 2008 volunteers were alerted to calvert county for the report of a fire in a building. Rescue Engine 5-2 under the command of Capt. 5 (A. Stephens) responded with 4. Calvert Chief 2A (C. D'Agostino) arrived on scene with nothing evident. Calvert Engine 2-2 arrived shortly after to find the building sprinkler system put out most the fire. Rescue Engine 5-2 staged on location while command assessed the scene. Command held Units from Calvert Company 2, Calvert Tower 1 and Calvert Company 6 and released the rest. Then Rescue Engine 5-2 was placed on the fill in at Calvert Company 2.
