On Saturday June 12, 2004, members took Engine 5-2 to Serenity Farm for a Children's Fun Fair to benefit Saint Jude's Children's Hospital. Admission was $10 per car, once in the fair there was plenty for the children to do. There were pony rides, a petting zoo, dunk tank, face painting, and much more. Our members had fun showing off Eng. 5-2 to the children that attended the fair. All of the compartments were open for them to look in and there was even a set of running gear for them to look at and try on. The children had fun sitting in the engine pretending to be firefighters and asking questions about the things firefighters do when they are working. The Fun Fair was a big success, Serenity Farm raised a good amount of money for Saint Jude's Children's Hospital.
