On September 16, 2010, members of the Red Knights MC Maryland 4 Chapter visited Benedict Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad. The purpose of their visit was to donate $1500 to the department in the name of Justin Hutchinson. Justin was a member of Benedict when he was killed by a drunk driver on July 16th, 2001. The department sincerely appreciates the generosity of the Red Knights MC and will use the donation in its efforts of updating the department.
