On October 18 Chief 2 from Hughesville invited Benedict to assist in fire prevention activities at a corn field maze at Zekiah Farms Bryantown; off of Booth Pl. off Bryantown Rd. Zekiah Farms took a corn field and made a maze in the shape of a fire department maltes cross. Schools from all across the county are coming to walk through it. Today, Benedict had the chance to talk about fire prevention with Barnheart Elementary School, such as stop drop and roll, proper times to use 9-1-1, and how important a meeting place outside the home is, incase of an emergency. Benedict thanks Chief 2 for the opportunity to help.
