On 12/06/04 Engine Company 5 was alerted mutual aid to the Hunters Brooke Subdivision located on Hawthorne Road just east of Potomac Heights, for multiple houses on fire. Engine 5-3 and Tanker 5 responded. Engine 5-3's crew assisted in extinguishing the fires and also with overhaul operations. Tanker 5 supplied water. The fire is under investigation by the Charles County Sheriff's Office, Maryland State Fire Marshal, Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) and the Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF).
